‘Britain built too much’: Cash-strapped Afghanistan may shutter schools and clinics

Dozens of UK-built schools and clinics in Afghanistan may be closed as the government cannot afford to maintain them, a confidential report revealed. They were built for a ‘hearts and minds’ campaign that cost the UK hundreds of millions of dollars.
The report, acquired by the Guardian, was commissioned by the Afghan Helmand Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) and US General Charles Gurganus.
Members of the British government’s Stabilisation Unit compiled the report this year by examining the construction projects completed in Helmand province, and comparing the costs to the province’s available budget.
Since 2009, the British helped build 15 health centers and 26 new schools, and restored and reopened 86 older schools in Helmand.
“We didn’t think about how the Afghans would pay for it. But it was understandable. We wanted to show them what we could do for them, but without regard for sustainability,” one official told the Guardian.  MORE   thank you Bill

CRS Report for Congress
Prepared for Members and Committees of Congress
 Afghanistan: Post-Taliban Governance,Security, and U.S. Policy
Policy Pre-September 11, 2001
Throughout 2001, but prior to the September 11 attacks, Bush Administration policy differed little from Clinton Administration policy—applying economic and political pressure on the Taliban while retaining some dialogue with it, and refraining from militarily assisting the Northern Alliance. The September 11 Commission report said that, in the months prior to the September 11 attacks, Administration officials leaned toward such a step. The report added that some officials wanted, in addition, to assist ethnic Pashtuns who were opposed to the Taliban. Other covertoptions were reportedly under consideration as well.

“Regional Equity”—Obama’s Coming War On Whitopias

America’s Booming White Enclaves

By RANDY JAMES Monday, Oct. 12, 2009
You say that many Whitopias offer a high quality of life and tend to perform well on those “Best Places to Live” lists that run in magazines. Do you think people are also drawn to these places specifically for their whiteness?
The major draw to Whitopia is that they’re safe communities with good public schools and beautiful natural resources. Those qualities are subconsciously inseparable from race in many Americans’ minds. For some people, race is a major role, and they said so to my face, but most of the Whitopians I encountered aren’t intentionally practicing racial discrimination or self-segregation.
You say Whitopias can form even in the middle of diverse cities. How is that possible?
People don’t realize that diversity isn’t the same as integration. Blacks and whites in New York, where I live, are as segregated today as in 1910 [based on a sociologists' segregation index that measures how much contact people of differing races have with one another.]
What is the danger Whitopias pose to America as a whole?
You can call me old-fashioned, but I’m an integrationist. A democracy can’t function at its optimum unless all members are integrated as full members.
A community full of like-minded people tends to enforce their own view of the world and close off opposing viewpoints. You can go to parties in New York City where the liberal smugness is intolerable because they’re only hearing liberal viewpoints. On the Whitopian conservative side, it’s spinning out of control. Look at the tea-bagger movement, where people are concerned their taxes are going to be wasted on minorities and illegal immigrants. Same with the movement that says [President] Obama is not a citizen.
Americans can be forgiven for not being familiar with Regional Equity. I had not heard the term myself until just a few weeks ago, when I caught Stanley Kurtz on the radio talking about his new book:Spreading the Wealth: How Obama is Robbing the Suburbs to Pay for the Cities.
The essence of Regional Equity is the use of centralized political power make things equal over regions—disregarding jurisdictions.
President Obama is very much on board with the Regional Equity movement. The White House website  says:
“President Obama will also take a regional approach that disregards traditional jurisdictional boundaries [my emphasis—JM], setting policy that takes into account how cities, suburbs, and exurbs interact. President Obama’s urban policy agenda will use this integrated approach to enhance economic competitiveness, sustainability, and equity in our cities and metropolitan areas.”
Furthermore, PolicyLink (a pro-minority think tank run by a woman graduate of Howard university who describes herself as “national leader for social justice and equity”)  states:
Under the Obama administration, a framework of regional equity has been a driving force behind the larger federal partnership for Sustainable Communities made up of HUD, the Department of Transportation (DOT), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The partnership has now issued a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for a new Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant Program (SCRPG) that will formalize as federal policy the very strategies that equity advocates have been seeking to advance at the community level for years. [The Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant Guide | How to Link Equity to Each Rating FactorPDF]
In the past, secession could work—boundaries meant independence from the predatory desires of larger neighbors hungry for the resources and lifestyles of more prosperous suburbs.      See source for more

This scheme is not being mulled over, it is being implemented right now.
All the beer bellied, head-in-the-sand, football watching zombies are going to find out soon that a literal dark nightmare is knocking on their front door. We have to stop this insanity before it gets out of hand then push it and the people behind it back into the sewers.
This new game of theirs is being implemented in all sorts of places all around the country. Usually it takes either a few jews or their minions worming their way onto city councils or bribes to corrupt officials to incorporate “low cost housing” into their communities(always far from them, of course).
The Feds use money as a carrot on a stick to get the fence sitters to go along with this by either promising generous “federal stimulus” moneys to go their way if they adopt these suicidal plans, or they get their jew crew from the DOJ to force it.
Start looking for this new scheme as it is implemented far and wide and let as many people know about it before it is too late.

The Failure of Education: The Social Reproduction of Racism and Black Males

The Failure of Education: The Social Reproduction of Racism and Black Males

Supreme Court may limit use of race in college admissions

AUSTIN — More than a half-century after the Supreme Court ordered theUniversity of Texas to admit a black man to its law school, the sprawling live-oak-and-limestone campus is again the site of a monumental battle over the use of race in university admissions.
But this time the challenge comes from a white woman. Abigail Fisher says the color of her skin cost her a spot in the 2008 freshman class at the university she had longed to attend since she was a child.
Under the banner of racial diversity, Fisher contends, the UT admissions process — which considers race as a factor in choosing one quarter of its students — unfairly favors African Americans and Hispanics at the expense of whites and Asian Americans.
Arguments in the case are scheduled for next month, and the decision could be one of the most important and revealing of the Supreme Court’s term that begins Monday.
The court since 1978 has recognized that promoting diversity on the nation’s campuses allows a limited consideration of race that normally the Constitution would not countenance.
It has imposed restrictions — no quotas, no racial balancing to match demographics, no automatic boost for an applicant because of minority status. But as recently as 2003, the justices reaffirmed the view that “student body diversity is a compelling state interest that can justify the use of race in university admissions.”
But the court has changed dramatically since then, with a conservative majority now highly skeptical of — even hostile to — racial preferences. The justice most likely to decide the case for the divided court — Anthony M. Kennedy — has agreed in principle that diversity is important but has never voted to approve an affirmative action plan.

Israel Seeks ‘Red Lines’ on Iran;

UNITED NATIONS —Israel’s prime minister urged the international community to place a “clear red line” on Iran’s controversial nuclear program as he addressed the U.N. General Assembly Thursday.  Separately, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas blasted Israel for its illegal settlement activity and said his government will seek upgraded U.N. status within the year.Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country and much of the world are at risk from a potentially nuclear-armed Iran.He said the international community’s decade of negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program and the imposition of sanctions have not stopped Tehran from advancing its nuclear technology.

“There is only one way to peacefully prevent Iran from getting atomic bombs – and that’s by placing a clear red line on Iran’s nuclear weapons program.  Red lines don’t lead to war, red lines prevent war,” said Netanyahu.
  thank you James

Netanyahu: Iran could have bomb by next summer if it does not face a ‘red line

The Obama administration has been irritated by what many advisers see as rising Israeli threats and pressure. Obama told the U.N. session on Tuesday that there is still time to negotiate a peaceful end to the most troublesome elements of Iran’s nuclear program. But he has refused to set a deadline for Iran to back down or to publicly outline precisely what Iranian nuclear milestone would trigger a U.S. attack.
U.S. officials have said that an ultimatum now could kill chances for a peaceful deal to head off the Iranian program. The threat of war or a rupture with Israel, a close U.S. ally, is also an unwelcome topic in this election season.
Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has criticized Obama for being too hard on Israel and not hard enough on Iran.

He responded to Netanyahu’s remarks with a statement saying: “I, like the rest of the American people, applaud the bravery of the people of Israel and stand with them in these dangerous times. The designs of the Iranian regime are a threat to America, Israel, and our friends and allies around the world.”

Romney Told Donors ‘No Way’ on Israeli-Palestinian Peace

The Cost of Israel to US Taxpayers

For many years the American media said that “Israel receives $1.8 billion in military aid” or that “Israel receives $1.2 billion in economic aid.” Both statements were true, but since they were never combined to give us the complete total of annual U.S. aid to Israel, they also were lies—true lies.
Recently Americans have begun to read and hear that “Israel receives $3 billion in annual U.S. foreign aid.” That’s true. But it’s still a lie. The problem is that in fiscal 1997 alone, Israel received from a variety of other U.S. federal budgets at least $525.8 million above and beyond its $3 billion from the foreign aid budget, and yet another $2 billion in federal loan guarantees. So the complete total of U.S. grants and loan guarantees to Israel for fiscal 1997 was $5,525,800,000.
One can truthfully blame the mainstream media for never digging out these figures for themselves, because none ever have.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told campaign donors that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is going to “remain an unsolved problem” and that pressuring Israel to make concessions to get the Palestinians to act “is the worst idea in the world.”
The Palestinians are “committed to the destruction and elimination of Israel” and are uninterested in peace, Romney said in a video from a private fundraiser in May posted yesterday by Mother Jones magazine.
In the video, Romney discounted the prospects for Middle East peace between Israel and the Palestinians, a goal that has been sought for decades by presidents from both parties.

‘No Way’

Romney said the problems of borders, Israeli security and other elements in the peace process are “very hard to solve.”
“I look at the Palestinians not wanting to see peace anyway, for political purposes, committed to the destruction and elimination of Israel, and these thorny issues, and I say there’s just no way,” Romney said

American ‘Victims’

Romney’s comments will limit his ability to fault President Barack Obama’s handing of the Israeli-Palestinian tensions, said Richard Armitage, former U.S. deputy secretary of state under George W. Bush.
“It’s difficult to criticize the president and his Middle East policy on the one hand, and then suggest, on the other hand, that the best you can do is kick the ball down the street,” Armitage said in a telephone interview yesterday.

Obama lifts freeze on $192 million aid package to Palestinian Authority

US President Barack Obama has lifted a ban on financial aid to the Palestinian Authority. An official with the US Agency for International Development said Saturday that the money had been restored.
Obama stated that the aid was “important to the security interests of the United States.”
The US Congress froze a $192 million aid package to the Palestinian Authority after its president, Mahmoud Abbas, defied US pressure and sought to attain UN endorsement of Palestinian statehood last September. The presidential waiver means that aid can now be delivered.

Palestinian Reaction

“Romney’s allegations that Palestinians are committed to the destruction of Israel are baseless given the fact that Palestinians have expressed support for the two-state solution, and repeatedly recognized Israel’s right to exist,” Areikat said in an e-mailed comment yesterday.
“The best way the Republican nominee can help in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is by adhering to long-standing U.S. policy regarding an acceptable solution that will lead to the end of military occupation of Palestine, peace, and security,” he said

Subliminal Behavior Modification Through TV, Computer, Described in US Patent #6,506,148

NSA Mind Control and Psyops
by Will Filer
2. NSA Initiated Execution to Cover-up in the News:
1. A University of California at Berkley student that went into a bar on or around November 27, 1990 took hostages and insisted to the police that the CIA Director talk with him so that he could get relief from the suffering. The young man had sent letters to the president and the CIA but the requests had fallen on deaf ears. After the young man panicked and shot a customer in the bar, a SWAT team fatally shot him, the San Jose police found copies of the letters written to the President referring to people that could “read minds” and that he had learned how they do it. The NSA had been unsuccessfully brainwashing him and had no alternative but to terminate him to assure their security. It is interesting that what was originally broadcast on the news “The gunman was demanding to talk with the Director of the CIA” etc. disappeared quickly (suppressed?) from later news accounts.
3. NSA Initiated Execution to Cover-up in Music:
1. Curt Cobain of the musical group “Nirvana” was another victim of NSA brainwashing and was terminated by NSA. Cobain had started writing clues to the NSA activities into his music to communicate it to his music followers. He referred in music to the NSA as the “Friends inside his head”. Once the NSA puts on the highest level of brainwashing pain, the subject expires quickly. Cobain used heroin to numb and otherwise slow the effect of the brainwashing.
“It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or TV set. For the latter, the image pulsing may be imbedded in the program material, or it may be overlaid by modulating a video stream.”

United States Patent 6,506,148
Loos, January 14, 2003
Nervous system manipulation by electromagnetic fields from monitors
Abstract
Physiological effects have been observed in a human subject in response to stimulation of the skin with weak electromagnetic fields that are pulsed with certain frequencies near 1/2 Hz or 2.4 Hz, such as to excite a sensory resonance. Many computer monitors and TV tubes, when displaying pulsed images, emit pulsed electromagnetic fields of sufficient amplitudes to cause such excitation. It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject by pulsing images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or TV set. For the latter, the image pulsing may be imbedded in the program material, or it may be overlaid by modulating a video stream, either as an RF signal or as a video signal. The image displayed on a computer monitor may be pulsed effectively by a simple computer program. For certain monitors, pulsed electromagnetic fields capable of exciting sensory resonances in nearby subjects may be generated even as the displayed images are pulsed with subliminal intensity.

This paragraph on behavior modification is from page 205 of Dr. Victorian’s Mind Controllers:
The latest development in the technology of induced fear and mind control is the cloning of the human EEG or brain waves of any targeted victim, or indeed groups. With the use of powerful computers, segments of human emotions which include anger, anxiety, sadness, fear, embarrassment, jealousy, resentment, shame, and terror, have been identified and isolated within the EEG signals as ‘emotion signature clusters.’ Their relevant frequencies and amplitudes have been measured. Then the very frequency/amplitude cluster is synthesized and stored on another computer. Each one of these negative emotions is properly and separately tagged. They are then placed on the Silent Sound carrier frequencies and could silently trigger the occurrence of the same basic emotion in another human being.
Note: To understand how this is technically possible, read the brief descriptions of the U.S. patents below.         See source for more                  thank you Brad

Israel lobbyist hints that ‘Pearl Harbor’ may be needed to get US into war with Iran

Last Friday, during question time at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy policy forum luncheon on “How to Build US-Israeli Coordination on Preventing an Iranian Nuclear Breakout,” the director of research at the pro-Israel think tank hinted that a Pearl Harbor-type attack might be necessary to get the United States to go to war against the Islamic Republic.
“I frankly think that crisis initiation is really tough,” said Patrick Clawson, who also heads the Washington Institute’s Iran Security Initiative, in response to a question about what would happen if negotiations with Tehran fail. “And it’s very hard for me to see how the United States … uh … President can get us to war with Iran.”
As a consequence, Clawson said he was led to conclude that “the traditional way [that] America gets to war is what would be best for US interests.”
Intriguingly, he went on to recount a series of controversial incidents in American history — the attack on Pearl Harbor, the sinking of the Lusitania, the Gulf of Tonkin incident, and the blowing up of the USS Maine — that US presidents “had to wait for” before taking America to war.
“So, if in fact the Iranians aren’t going to compromise,” the Israel lobbyist concluded with a smirk on his face, “it would be best if somebody else started the war.”  MORE

JERUSALEM (AP) — Israel ground almost to a halt Tuesday afternoon in preparation for Yom Kippur,Judaism’s holiest day of the year.
The country has completely closed its airspace to airplanes, shut down its buses and trains, and locked its border crossings in preparation the holy day, which begins Tuesday evening and ends Wednesday after sundown. Restaurants, businesses and schools closed, government ministries shuttered, and Israeli television and radio stations went silent. Highways and roads emptied of cars — a convention honored even by most secular and non-Jewish Israelis.
Yom Kippur is Judaism’s day of atonement, when devout Jews ask God to forgive them for their transgressions. They refrain from eating and drinking and attend intense prayer services in synagogues. The day caps a traditional ten day period of soul-searching that began with the holiday of Rosh Hashanah, the start of the Jewish new year.
This year, the day of introspection comes amid heightened speculation that an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities could be near. When Yom Kippur comes to a close Wednesday night, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will make his way to New York to address the United Nations with one main message: Iran’s nuclear program is an existential threat to Israel, and it must be stopped.

Paul Ryan: ‘Do you want Barack Obama to be re-elected? Then don’t vote for Ron Paul.’

This just tell’s me that Ron Paul has more supporters then Mitt?

Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan made a pitch to Ron Paul supporters during a  rally in Lima, Ohio, on Monday when asked why libertarians should support the Romney-Ryan ticket.
“For those of us who would have voted in the primaries for, say, Ron Paul, why should we vote for you and not, say, libertarians or Vermin Supreme and the Pony Party or something like that?” a man from the audience asked during the question and answer session.
“Do you want Barack Obama to be re-elected?” Ryan asked. “Then don’t vote for Ron Paul.” more at source

The North American Free Trade Agreement: Ronald Reagan’s Vision Realized  By Michael Wilson  November 23, 1993

The approval by the Congress of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is a victory of engagement and competition over withdrawal and complacency. The trade pact, which will eliminate tariffs on goods and services between the United States, Canada, and Mexico over a fifteen-year time span, will create the world's largest market: some 360 million people, with an economic output of more than $6 trillion a year. The NAFTA thus guarantees that American workers will remain the most competitive in the world and that American consumers will continue to have access to the world's finest goods and services

Decline began with 1st Bush and NAFTA

To the Editor:

It is totally obvious to me what is going on in our corporate, political and economic systems today. It all started when George W. H. Bush, under the advice of the corporations, felt it was necessary to create an agreement called the North American Free Trade Treaty (NAFTA).
This would allow corporations to ship their factories to Mexico and hire cheap labor to make their products and sell them back to U.S. citizens. There was no regard for the American worker then, and none now. We have allowed our businesses to become global and they can pretty much tell the United States and its citizens what to do and where to go.
The Republican Party, which is owned and operated by these now “world corporations” — also known as “job creators” — wants the United States to reduce corporate taxes with the hopes that these companies will hire more Americans to make their products.
This is Step One of their deceptions to create enormous unanswered profit. They weren’t “job creators” under George W. Bush, with his low taxes ,and they will not be in the future.
Step Two will be to lower the wages of the American worker. Why pay an American worker a livable wage when they can have an Asian worker do the same job for pennies a day? The jobs will never come back to the United States as long the people of our country want a standard of living that is better than an underdeveloped nation. This is why there is a Republican assault on labor unions to reduce the standard of living of the United States to that of a Third World country.
The corporate world wants to lower our standard of living and bring the rest of the world up, so they have a larger consumer base and don’t have to depend only on the United States to buy their products.
This is the corporate agenda. Mitt Romney and the Republican Party are like a bunch of rats climbing the mast of a sinking ship to save themselves and prosper before the ship sinks.
